BRIEF
The Wollongong Foot and Ankle Centre features a modern rehab gym and ultrasound facilities alongside specially designed consulting rooms for Dr Meghan Dares and Tim Bransdon’s Wollongong Podiatry team.
Innovatus Projects transformed it from a vacant wholesale meat distributor’s warehouse into a state-of-the-art medical care in just seven weeks.
Considering the users of the space, accessibility was a leading principle throughout the project’s entirety. All floors were levelled, including a previous building extension onto the original driveway, and other mobility-aid structures such as ramps were delivered. Extensive plumbing works were required to construct bathrooms including cutting into the concrete slab and trenching for sewer facilities.
By prioritising safety and with consideration as to the client’s needs, a fantastic result was delivered which will allow residents of the Wollongong area access to the best possible podiatry and surgical care.
