The Sydney Opera House – Green Room Café and Commercial Kitchen Upgrade involved the comprehensive refurbishment of the existing café and commercial kitchen within the iconic Sydney Opera House. The scope included a full strip-out of the existing fit-out, followed by the installation of a commercial kitchen and a new café serving area.
To accommodate the upgraded equipment and operational demands, the project required decommissioning of all existing gas services and a 300% increase in power capacity through upgraded incoming electrical services. Works included the installation of new waste pipe infrastructure and cleaning of the grease trap arrestor. All works were delivered in a live operational environment, requiring careful planning, staged works, and continuous stakeholder coordination to minimise disruption.
