At Innovatus, we’re passionate about building better spaces and relationships _ and that extends beyond the projects we complete. It also means backing the spaces and people that help our region thrive.
Innovatus Project’s sponsorship will assist in supporting the Illawarra Basketball Association’s NBL1 program _ a vital platform for some of the best emerging talent in the country.
The sponsorship features naming rights of court three at The Snakepit _ the spiritual home of basketball in the Illawarra where the IBA’s thriving junior program thrives and grows.
For our owner Nick Halakatevakis, this is more than just a sponsorship, it’s personal
For our General Manager Nick Halakatevakis, this is more than just a sponsorship, it’s personal.
“I know first-hand how much the sport brings to the community _ teamwork, resilience, friendship, and fun,” Mr Halakatevakis, an avid basketball fan, said.
“To now be able to give back through Innovatus and help support the next generation coming through is something I’m incredibly proud of.
“Court three is where it all begins _ where young players first pick up a ball, learn the game, and fall in love with sport.
“And the NBL1 program is where that passion turns into potential, helping talented young players shine on a national stage. To be part of that journey is a privilege.”
Illawarra Basketball Association executive general manager Nathan Loveday said the association was “grateful for the support from Nick and Innovatus”.
“They are proud court sponsors of court three and now have upgrades to courtside on the show court,” Mr Loveday said.
“Nick and Innovatus have been great supporters for a couple of years now and we look forward to the growth of this partnership into the future”
Innovatus is thrilled to be courtside for the future of Illawarra basketball — from grassroots to greatness.
